To Configure Non-Graphic Components from InstrumentIndexList for Work Packaging

To Import the InstrumentIndex_<ProjectName>.xlsx Data

1. In eB Director, go to the SystemAdmin pane and check out the InstrumentIndex.xml mapping file from the Bulk Import of Excel Spreadsheets template.
   
2. Go to the eBCheckout location on your desktop and replace the InstrumentIndex.xml with the one from the …\CSST\ExcelMappingFiles\Tags\InstrumentIndex.xml and then check in the changes.
3. Back in your project in ConstructSim Work Package Server, go to the Project info panel > Project data and choose the Bulk upload tab.
4. Click the Upload button.
5. Browse to and select the …\ProjectData\Instrument Index\InstrumentIndex_<ProjectName>.xls file.
6. After uploading, set the List Type property to Instrument Index and the Mapping property to InstrumentIndex.xml.
7. Check the InstrumentIndex_<ProjectName>.xls checkbox and choose Start Import.

To Configure End-To-End Data Run Workflow to Process InstrumentIndex_<ProjectName>.xlsx into Component Data

1. With ConstructSim Executive, open the project workflow (.vem).
2. Expand the End-To-End Data Run > Phase 2 – Populate New VCM with Latest Engineering Data > Engineering Lists > Generate Engineering Components and Synchronize node.
3. Make a copy of the Generate Components from Lists Managed Command at the same level.
4. Disable the original one if it is not already disabled.
5. Right-click on your new copy of the Managed Command and choose Properties.
6. Edit to include Instrumentation in the name; then set the DISCIPLINESLIST attribute value to Instrumentation.

Configure End-To-End Data Run Workflow to Process Instrumentation Construction Tasks

1. Copy the End-To-End Data Run > Phase 2 - Populate New VCM with Latest Engineering Data > Task Processing > Task Generation > STANDARD - Generate Tasks Using Generic Unit Rates > STANDARD - Generate Generic Electrical Unit Rates node to the same level.
2. In the copied Managed Command:
   • Rename the workflow node to STANDARD – Generate Generic Instrumentation Unit Rates.
   • Delete the Create NodeOutputs for Tray Components and Create NodeOutputs for Conduit Components nodes.
   • Edit the Create NodeOutputs for Instrument Components node’s PS_ATTRIBUTEVALUE to INSTRUMENTATION.
   • Rename Create Electrical Construction Tasks Using Generic Unit Rates to Instrumentation and set the UNITRATEFILE attribute value to the [ProjectData] - .\UnitRates\InstrumentationURT_<ProjectName>.mdb file.
   • Enable the Managed Commands under the workflow node.
